star this property answer text <p>Electromagnetic fields (EMFs) and health evidence reviews have been prepared by scientific expert groups in the United Kingdom and around the world. The independent Advisory Group on Non-ionising Radiation (AGNIR) published their report in the UK in 2012 and the European Commission’s Scientific Committee on Emerging and Newly Identified Health Risks (SCENIHR) published their report in 2015. The World Health Organization is also currently preparing a review. star this property answer text <p>Since the removal of the Default Retirement Age in 2011, there is no formal retirement age, and people are encouraged to work for as long as they wish and are able. This will ensure as people live longer healthier lives that they can build the income they need for a secure future.</p><p> </p><p>We are aware that the time people leave the labour market will differ between individuals, and will be affected by a host of factors, including health, caring responsibilities and other factors. It would be impossible to take account of all factors in setting the State Pension age.</p><p> </p><p>In the Government’s 2016 State Pension age Review, Independent Reviewer John Cridland, concluded that disadvantaged groups should be assisted through the working age benefit system rather than through changes to the State Pension age.</p><p> </p><p> </p> more like this

Member for Westmorland and Lonsdale (Tim Farron) raised the issue of therapeutic radiographers during a debate on cancer workforce and early diagnosis on 8 January 2019, Official Report, columns 43WH-44WH.</p><p> </p><p>Health Education England published its first ever Cancer Workforce Plan in December 2017 which commits to the expansion of capacity and skills including an ambition to increase improved working practices, attracting qualified people back to the National Health Service through domestic and international recruitment.</p><p> </p><p>Following publication of the NHS Long Term Plan in January 2019, my Rt. hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care has commissioned Baroness Dido Harding, working closely with Sir David Behan, to lead a number of programmes to engage with key NHS interests to develop a detailed workforce implementation plan. These programmes will consider detailed proposals to grow the workforce rapidly, including therapeutic radiographers, consider additional staff and skills required, build a supportive working culture in the NHS and ensure first rate leadership for NHS staff.</p>
