star this property answer text <p>The NHS Long Term Plan set out a vision for providing integrated mental health support across primary and community services to ensure people can access the care, treatment and support at the earliest point of need.</p><p>All local areas have received funding to develop and deliver these new models of integrated care by 2023-24. star this property answer text <p>No one should face a long wait to access mental health support.</p><p>We committed to investing an extra £2.3 billion a year in mental health services by 2023/24. This will give 380,000 more adults access to psychological therapies and 345,000 more children and young people greater support. We have introduced the first ever access and waiting time standards for mental health, and will be testing and rolling out comprehensive waiting time standards for adults and children.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>We continue to invest in National Health Service talking therapy services so that people can access a range of evidence-based psychological therapies approved by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence. The NHS Long Term Plan committed an additional £2.3 billion a year to expand and transform NHS mental health services in England by 2023/24. This includes the ambition to increase access to NHS talking therapy services to cover a total of 1.9 million adults and older adults.</p><p> </p><p>An independent report by the Centre for Mental Health has demonstrated the impact of social approaches to preventing and promoting better mental health at a local level. To address the mental health impacts arising from the COVID-19 pandemic and reduce mental health inequalities, the £15 million Better Mental Health Fund invested in 314 local projects promoting better mental health and wellbeing in 40 of the most deprived local authority across England in 2021/22.</p><p> </p><p>In addition, the responses we received to our call for evidence to inform our mental health plans have been analysed and will be considered as part of the development of mental health policies in the Major Conditions Strategy.</p>

star this property answer text <p>No assessment has been made. NHS England are leading the centralised procurement of the up to 100 mental health ambulances as part of the £150 million capital investment detailed on Monday 23 January at a total cost of £7 million. This total cost is based on a national co-designed specification and benchmark averages.</p><p>The £150 million capital investment is also already supporting over 25 schemes which will provide new or improved health-based places of safety and Section 136 suites. Further allocations from the funding are currently being considered by NHS England.</p><p>Staffing requirements, training needs, and management arrangements for mental health urgent and emergency care will vary depending on the services and facilities provided in local areas. We are supporting the mental health workforce including through the ambition to deliver an additional 27,000 mental health staff by the end of 2023/24.</p> more like this
