This will give 380,000 more adults access to psychological therapies and 345,000 more children and young people greater support. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 01/02/2023 answer text <p>We continue to invest in National Health Service talking therapy services so that people can access a range of evidence-based psychological therapies approved by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence. The NHS Long Term Plan committed an additional £2.3 billion a year to expand and transform NHS mental health services in England by 2023/24. This includes the ambition to increase access to NHS talking therapy services to cover a total of 1.9 million adults and older adults.</p><p> </p><p>An independent report by the Centre for Mental Health has demonstrated the impact of social approaches to preventing and promoting better mental health at a local level. NHS England are leading the centralised procurement of the up to 100 mental health ambulances as part of the £150 million capital investment detailed on Monday 23 January at a total cost of £7 million. This total cost is based on a national co-designed specification and benchmark averages.</p><p>The £150 million capital investment is also already supporting over 25 schemes which will provide new or improved health-based places of safety and Section 136 suites. Further allocations from the funding are currently being considered by NHS England.</p><p>Staffing requirements, training needs, and management arrangements for mental health urgent and emergency care will vary depending on the services and facilities provided in local areas.
