The convictions are for a range of offences and are not limited to offences covered by terrorism legislation. In some cases, the individuals in question may not know they have been investigated and prosecuted (for non-terrorist offences) because of their engagement in terrorism. I am therefore unable to go into further details of specific offences or sentences received.</p><p>The safety and security of our country, our people and our communities remains the Government’s number one priority.Around 900 people of national security concern travelled from the UK to engage in the conflict in Syria and Iraq. Of these, approximately 20% have been killed while overseas, and around 40% have returned to the UK.The majority of those who have returned did so in the earlier stages of the conflict, and were investigated on their return. The Prime Minister has been clear that, in any scenario, there is no question of asking EU citizens resident here to leave. On 21 September, the Prime Minister confirmed that, in the event of no deal, all EU citizens resident in the UK before 29 March 2019 will be able to stay, their rights will be protected, and they will be able to live their lives broadly as they do now.</p><p>On 30 October, the Prime Minister extended that commitment to citizens of Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein; and we are close to reaching an agreement with Switzerland. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/03/2022 answer text <p>Hizballah has been proscribed in its entirety in the UK since 2019.</p><p>Proscription sends a strong message that the Government considers an organisation to be concerned in terrorism and makes it a criminal offence to be a member or supporter of the organisation, with a maximum penalty of 14 years in prison and/or an unlimited fine. It is also a criminal offence for a person to display or publish an article or item of clothing in such a way or in such circumstances to arouse a reasonable suspicion that they are a member or supporter of a proscribed organisation. This could lead to up to 6 months in prison, and/or a £5000 fine.</p><p>The tactics for policing public demonstrations are an operational matter for the police. It would not be appropriate for the Government to comment publicly on these. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 01/09/2020 answer text <p>The Settlement Resolution Centre followed Public Health England advice to ensure staff worked from home where possible, this led to a short period during which phone lines were closed to incoming calls.</p><p> </p><p>The telephone service was quickly re-established with lines reopening, on a limited basis, on 1 May and a full service resumed on 11 May.</p><p> </p><p>While phone access was unavailable, the centre continued to receive and respond to enquiries made via the online contact form.
