star this property answer text <p>We welcome the findings of this study, which show the importance of the Human Papillomavirus vaccine in saving lives from cervical cancer. We encourage all teenage girls to have the vaccine when offered it. The vaccine programme, together with cervical screening, have the potential to reduce cervical cancer to the point where almost no women develop it. Fewer cervical cancers will significantly affect the current screening programme, and work is ongoing to see what changes might be needed in the future.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>We introduced the Enhanced Service Specification: COVID-19 vaccination programme 2020/21 which enables general practitioner (GP) practices to vaccinate unregistered patients within their eligible priority cohort.</p><p>For individuals not registered with a GP, the National Health Service and local partners will ensure they are offered appropriate support to receive the vaccine and avoid inequalities in access. This includes making the vaccination available from a range of settings. We are also working with community leaders and partners on initiatives to encourage people to register with a GP and with councils to ensure targeted support is included in local area vaccination plans for unregistered patients.</p> more like this

Member’s this question to refer to pay and employment criteria in the Hospital and Community Health Services sector of the National Health Service, for non-medical staff employed on the national collectively agreed Agenda for Change contract.</p><p>The Job Evaluation Scheme (JES) which underpins pay in the Agenda for Change contract is a system that has been developed through collaboration between NHS leaders, NHS trade unions, and independent job evaluation experts. The JES is a structured method of comparing job demands and seeks to ensure staff receive equal pay for work of equal value.</p><p>We are not aware of any intention to assess greater transparency in this process.
