answer text <p>We are aware that there is currently disruption affecting the supply of parenteral nutrition from the supplier Calea. This is due to necessary changes in their manufacturing process, meaning that Calea is operating at reduced capacity. We understand the concerns of those who use these products. We are working closely with the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency, NHS England and NHS Improvement, the supplier and national experts to resolve this supply issue as quickly as possible to ensure patients requiring parenteral nutrition can be maintained on treatment.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) is not currently a routinely commissioned service, but is provided by the National Health Service through the three year PrEP Impact Trial. Participation in the trial is on a voluntary basis and it is for clinics and local authorities to decide whether they wish to take part.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>NHS England has committed over time to lowering the starting age for bowel screening from 60 to 50 years of age. Information to assess the number of additional endoscopists required to deliver this commitment is not currently available centrally.</p><p>NHS England is currently in the process of planning for delivery of the NHS Long Term Plan commitment to modernise the Bowel Cancer Screening Programmes. The first phase of the plan is the replacement of guaiac Faecal Occult Blood Test kit with the more sensitive Faecal Immunochemical Test for haemoglobin from summer 2019; local teams are developing services, including the workforce plans, ready for its implementation.</p> more like this
