	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/11/2018 answer text <p>The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) does not currently recommend any specific treatment for Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency (AATD).</p><p> </p><p>NHS England is engaging with NICE on the Highly Specialised Technologies evaluation of human alpha1-proteinase inhibitor for treating emphysema in adults with documented severe AATD (ID856). Public Health England (PHE) did not consult with its Alcohol Leadership Board before beginning a partnership with Drinkaware because the timing of the campaign was such that the Alcohol Leadership Board was informed at the first opportunity once there was certainty about the collaboration.</p><p> </p><p>A copy of the terms of reference for the PHE Alcohol Leadership Board is attached.</p><p> </p><p>PHE will be commissioning an independent evaluation of the ‘Drink Free Days’ campaign, which will include an assessment of the impact on PHE’s reputation. The evaluation and subsequent peer review of the Drink Free Days campaign will be complete by May 2019. The research aims to identify vulnerable patients, at an early stage, who may be unlikely to respond to current treatment for anorexia, with the longer-term aim of shaping individualised support and treatment strategies. This includes looking at the potential advantages and disadvantages of the national data opt-out not applying to these surveys beyond 2018/19.</p><p> </p><p>In spring 2018 we confirmed that for 2018/2019 the national data opt-out would not be applied to the national cancer patient experience survey and other patient experience surveys.
