However, DFID has taken a number of steps to increase the range of organisations funded and the accessibility of its funds.</p><p> </p><p>DFID’s 2016 Civil Society Partnership Review recommended a shift towards more open, competitive programmes. This opened up opportunities for a wider range of civil society organisations. This was supported by the 2017 Supplier Review, when DFID committed to cutting red tape to boost competition and open up DFID’s market to a wider range of organisations.</p><p> </p><p>All DFID programmes are required to consider how the programme will contribute to reducing gender inequality. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/02/2019 answer text <p>Tackling tax evasion is a priority for DFID as part of our Transparency Agenda, Addis Tax Initiative commitments and the UK Anti-Corruption Strategy.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Since 2013 DFID has supported the Global Forum for the Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes through its International Tax Transparency Programme. The Global Forum helps countries tackle tax evasion by strengthening global tax transparency and international cooperation. Although many factors impact on revenue growth, so forecasts are not available, past DFID tax programmes have proved to be great value for money. The UK is the largest donor to the Cyclone Idai response having made up to £22 million available. In Zimbabwe we are funding essential health supplies, hygiene kits and child protection support. This includes the £1.5 billion of additional funding HM Treasury announced at Autumn Budget 2017 for 2018/19.
