However, it is the local authorities’ role to allocate funding and deliver youth services in line with local need. We are not aware of any conclusive evidence of a direct link between the closure of youth clubs and crimes committed by young people.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>This government is committed to young people and levelling up opportunities. We are investing £500 million over five years through the new Youth Investment Fund to build new youth centres, refurbish existing youth facilities, provide mobile facilities for harder to reach areas, and to invest in the youth work profession and frontline services.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>Government is also funding up to £7 million this financial year through the Youth Accelerator Fund, expanding existing successful projects that are delivering positive activities for young people, and to address urgent needs in the youth sector. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/03/2020 answer text <p>The most recent publicly available figure from the NCS 2016 evaluation report show that for every £1 of taxpayer money spent on the 2016 summer programme, £1.79 is provided back to society by the NCS programme in terms of the economic benefit. For the 2016 Autumn programme for every £1 spend, £2.21 is provided back in terms of the economic benefits. The economic benefits relate to the identified impact the NCS programme has in respect to volunteering and leadership.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>The NCS Trust is the Royal Chartered Arms-Length Body overseeing and implementing the programme, in line with the NCS Act 2017. The NCS Trust’s budget is reviewed and approved by DCMS on an annual basis in line with Managing Public Money standards. We acknowledge that there will be some additional processes for those in creative industries working across the EU now that the transition period has come to an end. However, our agreement with the EU contains Transparency and Procedural Facilitation measures that will help ensure visa processes are as prompt and smooth as possible.</p><p>During our negotiations with the EU, the UK proposed measures, reflecting the views of the music industry itself, that would have allowed musicians to travel and perform in the UK and the EU more easily, without needing work-permits. Specifically, we proposed to capture the work done by musicians, artists and entertainers, and their accompanying staff through the list of permitted activities for short-term business visitors.</p><p>In practice this would have delivered an outcome that is closer to the UK’s approach to incoming musicians, artists and entertainers from non-visa national countries, such as EU Member States and the US, who can come to perform in the UK without requiring a visa. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 25/07/2019 answer text <p>The Civil Service do not gather information on individual medical conditions.</p><p>United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV), the UK’s centralised vetting provider, does not collate or report on specific medical conditions. This is due to vetting confidentiality. While medical conditions may be collected as part of vetting processes, these are recorded in narrative form. Reviewing the narrative data would require individual examination of many thousands of records. Similarly, it is not possible to collate data for withdrawals or suspensions citing medical factors, due to how this is recorded. Regardless, individuals are not denied clearance, or have clearances revoked, solely on the basis of possessing a particular medical condition. The NHS in England has developed two bespoke services, the Veterans’ Mental Health Transition, Intervention and Liaison Service and the Veterans’ Mental Health Complex Treatment Services.</p><p>The Office for Veterans' Affairs will be working to join up such services across government and collaborating closely with service charities to ensure that veterans can access the mental health and well-being support they need.</p><p>Health and wellbeing is also one of the key areas set out in the <em>Strategy for our Veterans</em>, on which we worked closely with the Devolved Administrations. Once a new Committee has been established, it will be up to them to choose when they wish to publish it.
