	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 07/11/2018 answer text <p>As was announced at Budget 2018, the Digital Catapult will test the potential of their Field Labs concept, a small experimental trial of Distributed Ledger Technology, working with businesses, investors, and regulators, in a range of areas. We anticipate the first Field Labs will focus on the construction sector and the management of goods in ports.</p><p>The Digital Catapult, while receiving significant long-term funding from the government, is an independent private sector entity. This includes the £1.5 billion of additional funding HM Treasury announced at Autumn Budget 2017 for 2018/19. A full breakdown of how this was allocated to departments can be found in the Chief Secretary’s Written Ministerial Statement, HCWS540, laid on the 13th March (https://www.parliament.uk/business/publications/written-questions-answers-statements/written-statement/Commons/2018-03-13/HCWS540/). 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 19/06/2018 answer text <p>As part of its work to make the UK the safest place in the world to be online, the Government published the Internet Safety Strategy Green Paper in October 2017 and published its consultation response in May this year.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>The consultation response included a draft statutory social media code of practice. This provides guidance to social media providers on appropriate reporting mechanisms and moderation processes to tackle abusive content. Learning from the pilot year has been factored into plans for year two of the programme.</p><p> </p><p>31,000 students registered for the pilot year with 22,000 taking part in the first stage which gauged students’ aptitude for cybersecurity. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 19/11/2018 answer text <p>The fundamental purpose of the General Data Protection Regulation is to provide individuals with greater protection and control over their personal data.</p><p> </p><p>Allowing General Practices to charge for providing responses to subject access requests would weaken the rights of patients. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/06/2018 answer text <p>We have included in the Financial Guidance and Claims Act 2018 provision to ban cold calls relating to claims management services except where the receiver has consented to such calls being made to them.</p><p> </p><p>This measure will be implemented through the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulation (the framework underpinning electronic communications) and regulated by the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), who provide monthly statistics on its website (www.ico.org.uk) on the number of reported nuisance calls. DCMS will continue to work closely with the ICO to monitor the number of cold calls and text messages received for personal injury claims, in light of the new measure.</p><p> </p><p>We have also recently published a consultation on providing the ICO with the powers it needs to hold company directors directly responsible for direct marketing breaches.
