This incorporates both the economic and security partnerships outlined by the Prime Minister.

The Government is clear that we must do whatever is most practical and pragmatic to provide security for our citizens. We therefore intend to develop a new security partnership with the EU that builds on the breadth and depth of our shared interests and values, and thus goes beyond any existing third country arrangements.
