	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 27/02/2018 answer text <p>The main reason why parental leave entitlements for adopters focus on supporting employed parents is that they do not generally have the same level of flexibility and autonomy over the time they take off work as self-employed adopters do.</p><p>The Government is not ruling out providing further support for self-employed parents in the future. This includes those with BAME backgrounds, people with disabilities and people from lower socio-economic backgrounds.</p><p> </p><p>Embedding AI across the UK will create thousands of good quality jobs and drive economic growth. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 06/03/2018 answer text <p>We are working hard to support businesses and entrepreneurs across the UK, to ensure they can access finance and support to grow and that the right conditions are in place for companies to invest for the long-term.</p><p> </p><p>For the 12 month period up to end of September 2017, the Start Up Loans programme provided 30 loans to businesses in Telford &amp; Wrekin totalling over £325,000, of which 20 loans were to businesses in the Telford constituency totalling over £169,000In addition, the Government has funded the provision of tailored advice and support for start-ups and SMEs in each Local Enterprise Partnership area and in Telford this is through The Marches Growth Hub.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Telford constituency is also part of the Midlands Engine. A key part of the Government’s strategy for fuelling growth in the region is the £250m Midlands Engine Investment Fund (MEIF), which was launched on 22 February and is a result of close collaboration between the British Business Bank, the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, the Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government and 10 Midlands Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs). It aims to transform the finance landscape for smaller businesses in the Midlands, accelerate economic growth and promote job creation.</p><p> </p><p>Finally, my Rt. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/02/2018 answer text <p>The issue of one-sided flexibility was considered as part of the Taylor Review of Modern Working Practices.</p><p> </p><p>The Review considered a range of penalties designed to punish employers who schedule work at late notice, or offer work only to cancel it at the last minute. However, these tended to have wider implications and would be complex to administer and enforce, meaning those who required additional protection may not benefit from any changes.</p><p> </p><p>However, the Government remains committed to ensuring that flexibility does not benefit the employer, at the unreasonable expense of the worker, and that flexibility is genuinely a mutually beneficial arrangement. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 28/02/2018 answer text <p>For the official receiver, the amount of time an investigation takes is dependent on the size and complexity of the business. As this is a large and complex case, it is not possible at this early stage to specify a timeframe. Should the official receiver find any evidence of director misconduct this would be referred to the Insolvency Service for further investigation. The Secretary of State has not received any provisional conclusions from the investigation, nor would he expect to do so from either the official receiver or the insolvency service. Investigations by the official receiver and the insolvency service are conducted separately from Ministers, as is the making of decisions arising from investigations on any possible prosecution or director’s disqualification.</p><p>For the Financial Reporting Council, the timing of the investigation depends on the size and complexity of the issues to be considered, but will be taken forward as quickly as possible.
