	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 27/03/2018 answer text While the Foreign Secretary has not recently discussed this specific issue with his Israeli counterpart, our Embassy in Tel Aviv and our Consulate-General in Jerusalem frequently urge both the Israeli and Palestinian authorities to take steps to improve conditions in Gaza. Every Israeli and Palestinian has the right to live in peace and security. We strongly condemn the recent attempted assassination of Prime Minister Hamdallah on 13 March, for which there is no justification. The UK continues to support the return of the legitimate Palestinian Authority to Gaza. In line with these provisions the UK continues to call on the Government of Israel to ease movement and access restrictions into and out of Gaza. This includes health, water, food relief and protection services.</p><p> </p><p>The UK Government has called for de-escalation and the protection of civilians in Afrin, while recognising Turkey’s legitimate interest in the security of its borders. The UK-sponsored UN Security Council Presidential Statement of 15 March 2018 called upon all parties to the confict in Yemen to distinguish between civilians and combatants, and take all feasible precautions to minimise harm to civilians.</p><p>When allegations of IHL breaches have been made against Saudi Arabia, it is important that the Saudis, in the first instance, conduct conclusive investigations. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 03/04/2018 answer text <p>The percentages given in response to PQ 132217 for owned, leased and loaned properties were calculated by building numbers.</p><p>The cost for buildings in the UK for financial year 2016-17 was £32,097,479, of which £25,204,465 was for owned buildings (including rates, utilities etc) and £6,893,014 was for leased properties (including rents, rates, utilities etc.)</p><p>We cannot provide a breakdown for the overseas costs of buildings by tenure type as not all the data that we require for the calculation is currently captured centrally. We routinely update our guidance to British businesses on the Overseas Business Risk website. We advise British businesses to bear in mind the British Government's view on the illegality of settlements under international law when considering their investments and activities in the region.
