	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 27/03/2018 answer text While the Foreign Secretary has not recently discussed this specific issue with his Israeli counterpart, our Embassy in Tel Aviv and our Consulate-General in Jerusalem frequently urge both the Israeli and Palestinian authorities to take steps to improve conditions in Gaza. Every Israeli and Palestinian has the right to live in peace and security. We strongly condemn the recent attempted assassination of Prime Minister Hamdallah on 13 March, for which there is no justification. The UK continues to support the return of the legitimate Palestinian Authority to Gaza. We are investing over £70 million on careers each year until 2020 to support young people and adults. Future investment on careers, as with all departmental expenditure, will be considered as part of the next Spending Review.</p><p> </p><p>To target more support on those who need it most, the government has announced a further £5 million investment fund in 2018-2019.
