Ministers have met the Local Government Association to discuss a range of issues including highways maintenance.</p><p>The responsibility for local highways maintenance in London, including repairing potholes, is a devolved matter and therefore falls to Transport for London and the London Boroughs. The Government’s first ever statutory Cycling and Walking Investment Strategy, published in April 2017, sets out the £1.2 billion of funding that is available to support cycling and walking over the period to 2021. Since its publication, the Government has announced further support for cycling and walking infrastructure, including around £77 million of schemes funded through the National Productivity Investment Fund, and the potential for significant investment through the new £1.7 billion Transforming Cities Fund. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 25/06/2018 answer text <p>All United Kingdom commercial helicopter operators require an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) issued by the Civil Aviation Authority. The requirements for the granting of an AOC are set out in legislation, and are concerned with an operator’s ability to fulfil their responsibilities for safety. This approval process is not designed to take into account the environmental effect of individual flights. It would not be possible to take the views of affected residents into account because the AOC is not based on specific flying routes. Some manufacturers have committed to offering voluntary software changes to EU5 and EU6 vehicles to improve their real world performance and we are encouraging other manufacturers to do the same.</p><p> </p><p>In the Autumn Budget, Government announced supplements to Vehicle Excise Duty and Company Car Tax for new diesel cars not certified to step 2 of Real Driving Emissions (RDE2) standards – also known as Euro-6d.
