	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 19/11/2018 answer text <p>Information on the apprenticeship levy collected by Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs and spent in each local authority or region of the UK is not available in the format requested. Many larger levy-paying employers are headquartered in one region but employ staff across the country meaning that we cannot attribute the levy collected and spent in individual locations. Individual employers have control of the expenditure of apprenticeship funds based on their current and future skills needs.</p><p>Information on the number of apprenticeships funded in each region or local authority district is not available. However, we can provide the numbers of apprentices that have had some or all of their apprenticeship supported through levy funds based on their home postcode. The EHRC’s spending on electricity and natural gas is not readily available and could only be obtained at disproportionate cost.</p><p>The information requested for DfE, Ofqual and Ofsted is in the attached table in Annex A. The figure for DfE includes all of its agencies and non-departmental bodies and has been adjusted to exclude Ofsted. However, the number of students entering each subject can be provided as a proxy, and this data is available at institutional level from 2011/12. Between 2011/12 and 2016/17, there have been 99 sixth form colleges that were open for at least one year. The attached table gives the number of pupils entering each subject at each institution for each year.</p><p>Some sixth form colleges were not always open, have since closed, or have converted to academies (these are denoted as ‘-’ in the figures). Having zero entries into a subject does not necessarily mean that the subject was not offered by the sixth form in that year - it could be the case that no students chose to enter it or if they did, they sat no exams in that particular year. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 24/10/2017 answer text <p>The table in the attachment shows learners aged between 16 and 25 with Autism Spectrum Disorder participating in further education and skills programmes in the academic year 2012/13 to 2015/16 (final year figures) and reported to date in 2016/17 (provisional full year figures).</p><p>Changes in the methodology of data collection between 2014/15 to 2015/16 produced a variation in learner numbers. This was due to a revision in the way learners with learning difficulties and disabilities were categorised. <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/478551/ILRSpecification2015_16_v4_Nov2015.pdf" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/478551/ILRSpecification2015_16_v4_Nov2015.pdf</a></p><p>From the 2015/16 academic year a learning provider can record multiple disabilities on the Individualised Learner Record (ILR) that collects this data. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 21/03/2018 answer text <p>The table attached shows the amount funding paid by the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) to the Workers Educational Association for the past three funding years (from August to July).</p><p> </p><p>The Workers Educational Association are in scope to receive an allocation and will be notified of the amount of funding available to them shortly.</p><p> </p><p>For 2018 to 2019, the ESFA will continue to allocate the Adult Education Budget (AEB).</p><p> </p><p>From 2019 to 2020, responsibility for the AEB will be devolved to eight Mayoral Combined Authorities (MCAs) and the Greater London Authority.</p><p> </p><p>Once authorities take on the role they will, within the agreed conditions of their devolution deal, be responsible for commissioning AEB provision in their local areas, having the freedom to set their own priorities, whilst still being subject to the statutory duties of my right hon. Friend, the Secretary of State. The department publishes statistics on destinations of students in the year after they finish key stage 4 or 16-18 study. Destination measures show the percentage of students with sustained participation in education or employment over six months following the end of their phase of study.</p><p>The table attached shows the percentage of students who did not sustain their employment or education destination throughout the six-month period in (a) Ashfield local authority district, (b) Nottinghamshire and (c) England after completing key stage 4 16-18 study (having studied A levels or other advanced level qualifications).</p><p>Information on pupil destinations is published annually on GOV.UK at: <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/statistics-destinations" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/statistics-destinations</a>.</p><p>The department also publishes an estimate of the number and proportion of young people not in education, employment or training (NEET) in each local authority based on information submitted by local authorities about young people’s participation in education or training in their area. This means that although an institution may no longer exist independently, its closure does not equate to a loss of provision for learners in the area.</p><p>Each college closure has been in a different constituency.
