We should make clear that our discussions will need to take into account both assets and liabilities. There is no established precedent for leaving the EU. We will approach the negotiations with the full intention of securing a deal that delivers the best possible outcome for the UK. This was set out in the Joint Report on progress during Phase 1 of the negotiations. They will update the forecast in November 2017.
