	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 09/07/2019 answer text <p>Rape and serious sexual offences are horrific crimes, which can have a significant and profound impact on victims.</p><p>I recognise that there is real current concern around the criminal justice response to rape and serious sexual offences. The Government’s Review provides an opportunity to identify areas, from the beginning to the end of the criminal justice process, where the police, CPS and HM Courts and Tribunals Service can improve practice and outcomes in cases involving these offences. The Government is putting in place a range of mitigations for such a scenario. The Cabinet Office is playing its part by, amongst other things, putting in place arrangements to deploy expertise to departments.</p><p>The Cabinet Office has allocated £58.8m in 2019/20 for EU Exit activity. Cabinet Office encourages staff and their Line Managers to adopt positive work/life balance arrangements which includes flexible working hours and working from home whilst ensuring business needs are met.
