Through this consultation, the Government is seeking to explore how best to support local authorities to mitigate the impacts of certain measures on business, residents and road users. A range of potential mitigation measures were identified in the consultation including the introduction of a car scrappage scheme.</p><p> </p><p>We are considering responses to the consultation.
