star this property answer text <p /> <p>The recording of consultations by assessment providers is not part of the contractual specification for Personal Independence Payment assessments.</p><p> </p><p>However, claimants can ask to record their own assessment, provided they comply with the conditions put in place: They must:</p><p> </p><p>· inform the provider in advance;</p><p>· be able to provide a complete and accurate copy of the (CD/Audio cassette only) recording to the Health Professional at the end of the consultation; and</p><p>· sign a declaration form to agree that they will not use the recording for any unlawful purpose.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p /> <p>An assessment of the financial impact of introducing Personal Independence Payment (PIP) was published in the 2010 budget and subsequent fiscal events have updated the forecast spending on disability benefits. star this property answer text <p>To prevent young people slipping straight into a life on benefits, from April 2017 the Government will remove the automatic entitlement to housing support for new claims in Universal Credit from 18-21 year olds who are out of work. This will ensure young people in the benefits system face the same choices as young people who work and who may not be able to afford to leave home.</p><p> </p><p>We will ensure that vulnerable young people who are in need of support for their housing needs continue to receive it. Government will consider the impact in line with our legal obligations as part of that process.</p> more like this

Resource plans have been developed to manage the increase.</p><p>Our current performance management processes will support the ongoing review of profiles throughout rollout and allow us to adapt our plans as and when necessary.</p><p>Current departmental internal performance measures will continue to be applied to these calls and monitored in the same way as they are currently.</p> more like this
