Nationally, the CPS consults with community-based organisations through its Community Accountability Forum, which includes a representative from the All Parliamentary Group on British Muslims. In August 2017, to coincide with the launch of the revised public statements on hate crime, the CPS launched the week-long #HateCrimeMatters campaign with involvement from each CPS Area as well as a wide range of local and national community partner organisations. The social media campaign had over 7,000 contributors and the campaign website has had almost 6,000 views.</p><p>During National Hate Crime Awareness Week (NHCAW), the CPS is standing alongside its community partner organisations and published its Annual Hate Crime report on 17 October. The Glasgow Dialogue was established to discuss the arrangements for the funding of activities to avert, minimise and address loss and damage.</p><p>In June 2022, at the Bonn Intersessional meeting, the Glasgow Dialogue on loss and damage was launched to discuss the funding arrangements for addressing loss and damage. There will be further dialogues taking place every year to 2024, though these are not formal negotiations.This will continue to be a critical forum to discuss practical ways finance can be scaled up and effectively delivered. In addition to the pilots, we have consulted, and will continue to consult with a broad range of charities and civil society organisations, to make sure that voter ID will work for everybody.</p><p>Based on the evaluations of the independent Electoral Commission and the Cabinet Office there is no indication that the ID requirement negatively affected the intention to vote for any consistent specific demographic group across the pilot authorities.</p><p>Showing ID is something people of all backgrounds already do every day, for example to take out a library book, claim benefits or pick up a parcel from the post office. Proving who you are before you make a decision of huge importance at the ballot box should be no different.
