	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 30/01/2015 answer text <p>The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has developed a number of online e-Learning courses which specifically relate to victims’ issues. These are: The Victims’ Code; Victim Personal Statements; Supporting Vulnerable Victims and Witnesses; The Prosecutors’ Pledge; and Special Measures (three courses: Parts 1-3).</p><p>In addition, victims’ issues are incorporated into training on prosecuting specific types of offending, such as: domestic violence; child sexual abuse; rape and serious sexual assaults; hate crime; stalking and harassment; human trafficking; and forced marriage and honour-based violence.</p><p>The CPS is presently consulting publicly on the draft guidance on prosecutors speaking to victims and witnesses at court, and training will be designed to underpin that guidance once it has been finalised.<br></p><p> </p> answering member constituency South Swindon answering member printed Mr Robert Buckland question first answered 30/01/2015 12:06:32 answering member 4106 label Biography information for Sir Robert Buckland

	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 29/01/2015 answer text <p>The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) Victims’ Right to Review scheme came into effect on the 5<sup>th</sup> June 2013. Between the date the scheme commenced and the 30<sup>th</sup> September 2014 the CPS reviewed 2,023 appeals of which 267 (13.2%) were upheld.</p><p>The number of decisions overturned represents a very small fraction of all the decisions made by CPS lawyers. During the period from 1st June 2013 to 30th September 2014, the CPS finalised 168,703 cases with a qualifying decision. All export licence applications are carefully assessed on a case-by-case basis against the Consolidated EU and National Arms Export Licensing Criteria, taking into account all prevailing circumstances at the time of application. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/03/2015 answer text <p>This Government is committed to providing more homes on brownfield land, and our change of use reforms are helping turn under-used or redundant office space into badly-needed accommodation, at no cost to taxpayers. The policy helps increase housing supply, including greater provision of studio and one-bedroom flats for young people. This policy is particularly beneficial in London, given the high demand for housing.</p><p> </p><p>Research published by Knight Frank in May 2014 estimated that nationally, prior approval applications had been secured for over 3.2 million square feet of new housing.</p><p> </p><p>An analysis by Planning magazine in November 2014, surveying London, Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, Liverpool, Newcastle, Nottingham, Manchester and Sheffield, estimated that a total of 17,425 new homes had been given permission across those specific cities.</p><p> </p><p>Research by Estates Gazette (EGi) in the year from May 2013 identified 303 schemes across London, delivering 8,924 new homes. The hon. Member may wish to note that in Islington alone, there were 26 schemes which were set to deliver 617 new homes.</p><p> </p><p>My Department has been collating formal statistics on office to residential conversions since April 2014. A total of 1,436 prior approval applications were granted from April to December 2014, and a further 1,155 applications were made where prior approval was not necessary.
