	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/05/2014 answer text <p> </p><p>The average journey time of a Pendolino between Euston and Birmingham city centre (New Street) is 1 hour 21 minutes. As set out in the Strategic Case for HS2 (October 2013), the average journey time of an HS2 train between Euston and Birmingham city centre (Curzon Street) will be 49 minutes – a saving of 32 minutes.</p><p> </p><p>The maximum line speed for a Pendolino travelling on the West Coast Main line is 125mph. HS2 is designed for a top speed of 250mph. Plans envisage services running at up to 225mph, which is becoming the standard capability for new high speed trains.</p><p> </p><p>There is no station for Handsacre on either the existing network or the HS2 network. They have announced the two-hourly service will be enhanced by four extra journeys from May 2015 for an experimental period of three years. The Government has been working closely with the Government of Barbados to ensure that our close and long-standing relationship is reflected fully in those celebrations both in Barbados and in the UK.</p><p>Barbados achieved independence from Britain on November 30th 1966. The anniversary is celebrated as Independence Day and is a national holiday in Barbados. Independence celebrations run throughout the month of November and include sports competitions, fairs, community events and religious services. For the 50th anniversary, Barbados has also announced a year of celebration with a number of events taking place over the next 12 months, beginning on 6 January 2016 with a parade through Bridgetown. Its remit includes the provision of a reliable, efficient supply of blood and associated services to the National Health Service in England and North Wales.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Although blood stocks are currently in a healthy position, there is always a need for new donors to fill the gaps left by existing donors who are no longer able to give blood- to ensure that we have the right mix of blood groups to match patients’ needs.
