	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 13/05/2014 answer text <p>This Government's long term economic plan has kept interest rates at record lows for hardworking people across the country.</p><p> </p><p>Many lenders impose affordability stress tests on their mortgage lending decisions to ensure that the mortgage will remain affordable should interest rates rise. The Financial Conduct Authority's Mortgage Market Review rules, which came into force in April this year will require all mortgage lenders to conduct such a stress test.</p><p> </p><p>Although UKAR does not engage in new lending, UKAR runs a range of modelling scenarios to understand the potential effects of interest rate rises on customers. This work helps UKAR to identify customers who may be susceptible to higher interest rates and to engage with such customers at an early stage.</p><p> </p><p>UKAR assists all customers who wish to switch mortgage providers.</p><p> </p><p>NRAM and Bradford and Bingley are managed by UK Asset Resolution Limited (UKAR) which was established in 2010 to manage the disposal and rundown of outstanding assets at Bradford &amp; Bingley and Northern Rock Asset Management in an integrated way, with a view to creating value for the taxpayer. There is no central record of all court cases brought against the Government and therefore it is not possible to identify either the total number of cases or the cost of them.</p><p>However, most central government bodies instruct the Government Legal Department to conduct their litigation. The organisational membership of the UK TCA Domestic Advisory Group, and the Trade and Sustainable Development (TSD) Domestic Advisory Group, includes representative bodies from both the agricultural and environmental sectors in the UK.</p><p> </p><p>The membership of the UK TCA and TSD Domestic Advisory Groups will be reviewed in 2024 and 2025 respectively. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 06/12/2018 answer text <p>Our mission is to put the UK at the forefront of the design and manufacturing of zero emission vehicles, and for all new cars and vans to be effectively zero emission by 2040. The Road to Zero Strategy sets out a clear pathway to zero emissions, to give clarity and certainty to both industry and motorists. By 2030 we want at least half of new cars sold, and as many as 70%, to be ultra low emission, alongside up to 40% of new vans. To achieve this, we are investing nearly £1.5bn‎ between April 2015 and March 2021, with grants available for plug in cars, vans, lorries, buses, taxis and motorcycles, and schemes to support charge point infrastructure at homes and workplaces and on residential streets.</p><p> </p><p>In July 2017, Defra published the UK Plan for Tackling Roadside Nitrogen Dioxide Concentrations (NO2), setting out how we will achieve compliance in the shortest possible time, supported by a £3.5 billion investment into air quality and cleaner transport.</p><p> </p><p>Any assessment made on the effect of the introduction of E10 on the level of air pollution is a matter for the Department for Transport.</p> answering member constituency Watford answering member printed Richard Harrington question first answered 06/12/2018 16:03:24 answering member 4068 label Biography information for Lord Harrington of Watford
