<p>Timely diagnosis of dementia ensures that a person with dementia can access the
advice, information, care and support to allow them to live well with the condition
and remain independent for as long as possible. Mental wellbeing is acknowledged as
one benefit of an early diagnosis. ‘Benefits of timely dementia diagnosis’ indicates
that those who receive a diagnosis can understand their experience and reduce their
