star this property answer text <ul><li><p>Thanks to the hard work of NHS teams, the government is on track to not only meet our ambition of opening 160 community diagnostic centres more broadly across England by March 2025, but to exceed it.</p></li><li><p>This will represent a step change in how diagnostics is deployed in the UK and directly supports our agenda to make access to health services faster for patients.</p></li><li><p>136 centres are currently operational, and over 5 million additional tests have been delivered since July 2021. This includes the centre in my honourable friends’ constituency, Bishop’s Stortford CDC.</p></li><li><p>I am pleased to endorse the Hon. Members' welcome of the new CDC. Bishops Stortford CDC has been delivering tests and checks to patients since Sept this year.</p></li></ul> more like this

Friend’s tireless advocacy for high-quality end-of-life care, through his work on the APPG for Dying Well. <br> <br>I understand his concerns about potential variation in provision. However, the Health and Care Act 2022 included a legal duty for integrated care boards to commission palliative and end of life care, in line with wider NHS devolution. <br> <br>Integrated care boards are best positioned to understand and meet the needs of their local population, and commission appropriate end-of-life services, including from the NHS and voluntary sector organisations, such as hospices.</p> more like this

We are working with NHS England to take forward its recommendations.</p><p>NHS England has committed £17.1 million to the two new regional hubs for Children and Young People gender services in 2024/25.</p><p>We are providing record levels of investment to transform NHS mental health services in England. star this property answer text <p><del class="ministerial">It is important that the police and local agencies have the powers they need to tackle local issues quickly and effectively. That is why we reformed the tools and powers available to tackle Anti-Social behaviour through the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.</del><del class="ministerial">In 2019/20 Lancashire Police are receiving £285.1 million of funding, an increase of £18.4 million, on 2018/19. Funding for 2020-21 for individual forces will be announced as part of the provisional police settlement later this year. Decisions about the allocation of police resources are for Chief Constables and democratically accountable Police and Crime Commissioners, who are best placed to meet the needs of their local community.</del></p><p><ins class="ministerial">The police and Crown Prosecution Services (CPS) are responsible for charging decisions with regards to county lines related criminality. The key is that prosecutions are brought, and the charges should cover the full range of criminality involved including Modern Slavery offences.We are working with the police and the CPS to take full advantage of powers in the Modern Slavery Act when making charging decisions against county line gang members. The CPS have issued an overview of the approach to be taken in criminal investigations and prosecutions linked to ‘county lines’ offending, with a particular focus on the relevance of the Modern Slavery Act.</ins></p>

star this property answer text <p>Government has engaged closely with the Loneliness Action Group in the development and now implementation of its Loneliness Strategy. The Home Office has worked in tandem with other departments in this and Home Office officials have spoken with the Loneliness Action Group about our progress in delivering our commitments in the Strategy.</p><p>Government officials have regularly attended the quarterly Loneliness Action Group meetings, to share updates and hear the group's views. The Minister for Sport and Civil Society, who leads Government's work on loneliness, spoke at the Loneliness Action Group conference in May 2019.</p> more like this
