After taking account of the other information sources available to the Home Office, tax credit records have not been included as they would only be relevant to a small number of applicants. We have allocated over £1.2 billion in homelessness funding to 2020. This includes £100 million for the Rough Sleeping Strategy, to help achieve the Government’s objective of reducing rough sleeping by half by 2022 and eliminating it by 2027.
