	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/06/2019 answer text <p>The provision for entry clearance for visitors from Iran is the same as for all countries whose nationals require a UK visit visa; individuals must submit a visit visa application, if the application meets the requirements of the Immigration Rules a visa will be issued.</p><p>In addition to the visa application centre in Tehran, individuals living in Iran wishing to apply for long term visas can submit their application in Turkey or the United Arab Emirates. An application for a UK visit visa can be submitted at any UK Visa Application Centre in the world. The White Paper proposals include a new route for skilled workers which will be open to anyone at RQF level 3 and above, irrespective of where they are applying from. The White Paper is clear that those applying in this route will be subject to an assessment of their language skills in order to support integration.</p><p>The Shortage Occupation List (SOL), is based on expert advice from the Migration Advisory Committee (MAC) and identifies those occupations deemed to be in national shortage. It does not include a separate language assessment. The MAC published their most recent review of the full SOL on the 29 May.
