The Government Property Agency works with its Facilities Management providers to ensure effective engagement of both parties in cases where recognition has not yet been achieved.</p><p>Contracts also set out agreement that the Principles of Good Employment Practice (as published by the Cabinet Office) will apply in regarding the employee engagement. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/11/2019 answer text <p>In 2017, the Government introduced world-leading legislation that made it statutory for organisations with 250 or more employees to report annually on their gender pay gap. Government departments are covered by the Equality Act 2010 (Specific Duties and Public Authorities) Regulations 2017 which came into force on 31 March 2017. These regulations underpin the Public Sector Equality Duty and require the relevant organisations to publish their gender pay gap data by 30 March annually.</p><p>Each year, in addition to reporting the figures required by the legislation each department publishes a stand alone report outlining the reasons that contribute to their gender pay gap and the action plans aimed at reducing it. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/07/2019 answer text <p>The National Health Service interim People Plan was published on 3 June 2019, it puts staff at the heart of NHS policy and delivery and recognises the current shortage of nurses as the most urgent challenge facing the health system.</p><p> </p><p>It calls for action to be taken now to make the NHS the best place to work, by reforming the culture and leadership and ensuring all staff (including nurses) feel supported and valued, in an effort to increase workforce recruitment and retention.</p><p> </p><p>The interim Plan proposes to increase the number of newly qualified NHS nurses, support and retain existing nurses, provide nurses with every opportunity to return to work, and bring in nurses from abroad. It commits to delivering 5,000 additional placements for nursing students, 7,500 further Nursing Associates, increasing undergraduate supply and broadening routes into nursing.</p><p> </p><p>There are no post-registration requirements for a Registered Nurse to become a Parkinson’s nurse. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 09/09/2019 answer text <p>Medicines Usage Reviews (MURs) are adherence centred reviews with the community pharmacist in isolation from the prescriber. The new Structured Medication Reviews, offered by clinical pharmacists working in primary care networks (PCNs), will provide a more comprehensive review of a patient’s medication with access to the patient record and with the greater ability of clinical pharmacists to make independent decisions to change medication, if that is the result of a review. It is expected that community pharmacists and practice-based pharmacists will work closely together to optimise medicines usage.</p><p>Recently announced changes to the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework, include a Medicines Reconciliation Service, through which community pharmacists will be expected to collaborate with PCN pharmacists and prescribers, to ensure patients are clear about changes to their medicines, post-discharge, in line with the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence guideline on medicines optimisation.
