The MOD works collaboratively with other government departments, in line with Fusion Doctrine, to support this approach.</p><p> </p><p>It is important that the UK continues to work with and support our international partners in NATO and the EU, contributing to and drawing upon the different tools of these organisations to protect against hybrid threats.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>Initial build of the first UK aircraft is complete. Painted in RAF livery, its first flight is scheduled for later this week. Delivery, as the RAF’s first P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft, is expected in October. Manufacture of the second aircraft, for delivery in January 2020, is under way.</p><p> </p><p>The first two aircrew courses have graduated and engineering training is ongoing. Construction of support infrastructure at RAF Lossiemouth is also continuing apace, so significant progress is being made.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>As I said to the hon. Member on 8 July, it is difficult to put an exact date on when the Army will reach its full trade trained strength. However, the Army have a series of initiatives in place aimed at improving both recruitment and retention. These are starting to yield benefits but ensuring the Army is at the appropriate size requires sustained effort and investment. However, most importantly the Army continues to meet all of its operational commitments that keep Britain safe.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The UK has a longstanding and enduring commitment to the Baltic Sea Region with a significant presence most notably within Estonia. The UK plays a leading role in NATO's Deterrence and Defence strategy by providing the Framework Headquarters and Battlegroup of around 850 personnel in Estonia. This capable force is augmented by an annual rotation of Apache Attack helicopters and Wildcat Lynx multirole helicopters. The UK contributes to the NATO air policing mission and our long-term commitment will see forces deployed in Estonia in 2019 and 2022, Lithuania in 2020 and Romania in 2021. The UK led Joint Expeditionary Force (Maritime) deployment to the Baltic Sea Region over 20 May - 12 July demonstrates the UK's focus upon the Baltic Sea, North Atlantic and High North regions as we integrate partnering nations' capabilities</p> more like this
