	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/07/2019 answer text <p>The Government has consulted with Members from all sides of the House on a range of issues relating to the UK’s withdrawal from, and future relationship with the EU.</p><p>If the UK leaves the EU without a deal, the UK would implement a temporary tariff regime that takes a balanced approach to support the UK economy as a whole. It will maintain open trade on the majority of UK imports, to support consumers and business supply chains, but retain necessary tariff protection for particular sectors of the UK economy. This would apply for up to 12 months while a full consultation, and review on a permanent approach, is undertaken.</p><p>As a responsible government we’ve been preparing to minimise any disruption in the event of no deal for over three years. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/06/2019 answer text <p>The Government has published a detailed set of economic analyses on the long-term impacts of EU exit on the UK economy, its sectors, nations and regions and the public finances – covering multiple EU exit scenarios. The analysis finds that the spectrum of outcomes for the future UK-EU relationship would deliver significantly higher economic output than the no deal scenario.</p><p> </p><p>In keeping with the government’s ambitious free trade agenda, the analysis assumes that, in the long run, the UK secures agreements with a broad range of potential trading partners, including, but not limited to, the United States, Australia, New Zealand, and other members of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership. This means that British businesses will be able to continue to bid for government contracts worth an estimated £1.3 trillion annually in a range of sectors on substantially the same terms as they do now.</p><p> </p><p>The Government is also seeking continuity of existing EU trade agreements. Many of these agreements contain public procurement obligations that we will retain, including the recently signed agreements with Switzerland, Israel, Chile, the Andean Community and the Caribbean countries.
