star this property answer text <p>A new Chair and CEO were appointed to the Academies Enterprise Trust during 2016-17 and they presented a comprehensive improvement plan to the department in early 2017. This plan was assessed by the Education and Skills Funding Agency to put in place a recovery process that underpinned education provision with strong financial management and oversight. This included improving governance of the trust, restructuring of central service teams, stronger financial and budgeting controls, reshaping school improvement structures and impact on educational outcomes. As a result of this assessment and supported by the National Schools Commissioner, additional funding was provided to the Trust<strong>.</strong></p><p> </p> more like this

Different goods are regulated in different ways, in part reflecting the different levels of risk they pose to consumers and the environment. The 2018 Government Review – Strengthening Local Enterprise Partnerships – set out what LEPs should themselves do to improve the diversity of their Chairs and board members, in terms of protected characteristics, gender and also in drawing from a more diverse representation of sectors. Through the publication of the National Local Growth Assurance Framework (2019) and LEP Annual Performance Reviews we will hold LEPs to account for achieving that.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>In order to help ensure that workplaces are safe for workers in the construction sector, the Government has worked with Public Health England (PHE), business representatives, and trade unions to develop guidance on safer working. Measures include undertaking risk assessments and implementing social distancing.</p><p> </p><p>The Government has also worked with the Construction Leadership Council to develop Site Operating Procedures, which provide practical advice to those seeking to implement this guidance on construction sites.</p><p> </p><p>The UK does not currently advise that face masks should be used outside of care settings, on public transport, and in some shops. However, PHE is continually reviewing its guidance in line with emerging evidence.</p> more like this
