<p>The Department for Business and Trade does not directly invest in businesses of
any kind but does support companies or projects seeking financial investment from
third parties. In its capacity as the UK’s export credit agency, any support provided
by UK Export Finance (UKEF) to exporters takes the form of loans, guarantees or insurance
provided at commercial rates. UKEF does not provide direct funding to, or make equity
investments in, the businesses that it supports. A summary of the support provided
by UKEF for each financial year is provided in the annual report and accounts, which
are available online at: <a href="https://eur02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.gov.uk%2Fgovernment%2Fcollections%2Fuk-export-finance-annual-reports-and-accounts&data=05|02|danny.dunne%40businessandtrade.gov.uk|f7d5b1f71e374fbab1b708dc428d9b35|8fa217ec33aa46fbad96dfe68006bb86|0|0|638458423158342285|Unknown|TWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D|0|||&sdata=e85Q4k%2Frx62C8OP6LcnX6mm34Ia6eTyVbWzNElw0gck%3D&reserved=0"
