The government has merged aspects of its APS with certain aspects of the Apprenticeship Evaluation Survey (AES). Fieldwork for the latest APS was conducted in late 2018 and early 2019. As with previous years, the Department for Education is responsible for publishing the latest AES, and BEIS is responsible for publishing the latest APS.
