All applications for British citizenship are considered against the relevant requirements of the BNA81.</p><p>The net worth of an individual is not a basis on which an application for British citizenship would be granted. This work has not reached any conclusions yet.</p><p>Individuals can be convicted in UK courts of offences committed overseas (including preparation of terrorism, encouragement of terrorism and membership of a proscribed organisation).
