With over 250 agencies participating in the Scheme, it would take disproportionate time and resource to provide a detailed breakdown of these individual payments.</p><p>The amounts recovered in respect of confiscation orders, together with amounts paid from this amount in compensation is provided in the attached table. This information was taken from the live database, JARD (Joint Asset Recovery Database) on 9 May 2019.</p><p>There are no immediate plans for changing the distribution allocations in the ARIS, but the Government keeps it under review. It costs the UK at least £37 billion every year. <br>The newly updated Serious and Organised Crime Strategy, published on 1st November 2018, sets out how the Government will mobilise the full force of the state and align the collective efforts of key partners from the public, private and voluntary sectors to tackle serious and organised crime together in one single approach.</p><p>We also continue to invest in the right capabilities and tools for law enforcement, across Government and in partnership with the private sector to tackle SOC effectively.</p><p>The cross-system approach is aligned to the four strategy objectives: <br>o Relentless disruption and targeted action against the highest harm serious and organised criminals and networks affecting the UK</p><p>o Building the highest levels of defence and resilience in vulnerable people, communities, businesses and systems</p><p>o Stopping the problem at source, identifying and supporting those at risk of engaging in criminality</p><p>o Establishing a single, whole-system response, aligning the efforts of all those involved in responding to serious and organised crime as one, cohesive system.</p><p>The Government has already made some early progress in implementing the Serious and Organised Crime Strategy. For example, we have:<br>• established and expanded the new community coordinator programme pilot areas in England and in Wales to promote community resilience and divert people away from serious and organised crime; <br>• deployed a new cross-government overseas policy specialists network to complement existing international law enforcement operational work abroad;. <br>• established a National UK Protected Persons Services in the National Crime Agency on 1st April 2019, through the transfer of England and Wales based Protected Person Units, to ensure the best protection possible is available to individuals while enhanc-ing judicial outcomes across the Criminal Justice Service. <br> <br>The Government is determined to prevent serious and organised crime, defend against it, track down perpetrators and bring them to justice. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/05/2019 answer text <p>The Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union has regular discussions with Cabinet colleagues on preparations for the UK’s departure from the European Union.</p><p>The Government recognises the importance of mobility for the UK’s creative sector and wider economy. The creative industries contributed <a href="https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/759707/DCMS_Sectors_Economic_Estimates_2017__provisional__GVA.pdf" target="_blank">£101.5bn to the UK economy in 2017</a>. That is why, in our White Paper on the UK’s future relationship with the EU, we said that whilst free movement of people will end, we want to agree reciprocal mobility arrangements with the EU that support businesses to provide services and move their talented people, and discuss how to facilitate the temporary mobility of self-employed professionals and employees providing services. The Immigration White Paper sets out the foundation for a single immigration system that will support the UK’s dynamic economy.</p><p>Our proposals for mobility arrangements with the EU are reflected in the Political Declaration on the future relationship, which contains a specific reference to the importance of mobility and temporary movement of objects and equipment in enabling cooperation in the cultural sector. We also want to discuss how to facilitate the temporary mobility of self-employed professionals and employees providing services.</p><p>The Political Declaration agreed between the UK and the EU negotiating parties specifically acknowledges the importance of mobility for cultural cooperation. The detail of our reciprocal mobility arrangements will be discussed in the next phase of negotiations.
