If we leave the EU without a deal, the UK would cease to have access to the EU’s internal security cooperation arrangements upon exit.</p><p>The Home Office continues to work closely with operational partners to ensure readiness for a range of possible exit scenarios in October, including no deal. We are working with these partners to put in place contingency arrangements to transition our cooperation with EU Member States to non-EU channels in a no deal scenario. The Foreign and Commonwealth Office hosted an in-house panel event including LGBT Rights activists and lawyers that discussed tackling discrimination, advocating for decriminalisation and the issues facing LGBT equality globally. In the case of the 2019 G20 Summit, there are currently no plans for formal discussions on preventing homophobia, biphobia and transphobia. However, the British Government continues to work through our embassies, High Commissions and through international organisations and multilateral fora to promote tolerance and non-discrimination and to address discriminatory laws against LGBT people.
