	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/05/2019 answer text <p>When an individual suffering from domestic abuse requests a split payment, we will make split payments available to them.</p><p> </p><p>Whilst DWP is not intending to introduce split payments by default, as a department we respond positively to requests for split payments, and can take other actions to support those experiencing abuse, such as making a managed payment of rent direct to landlords. We also ensure that claimants who disclose domestic abuse are signposted to specialist organisations for support. This model of monthly payments allows claimants to take responsibility for budgeting their own income and helps prepare them for getting back to work.</p><p> </p><p>Many claimants are capable of managing their own financial affairs and for these claimants a Managed Payment to Landlords (MPTL) is not appropriate.</p><p> </p><p>A claimant’s personal circumstances could change in a way which means that they need additional support at any stage of a claim, not just at the start. As such, we make sure that managed payments to landlords (MPTL) are available to Universal Credit claimants when appropriate, either from the start of their claim or at whatever point in which they need help.</p><p> </p><p>A MPTL can be requested by the claimant, their representative or their landlord and will be considered on a case by case basis and requests for MPTLs are dealt with as a priority. Landlords who are given access to the Landlord Portal are also given Trusted Partner status which allows them to make recommendations on whether an MPTL should be put in place. According to latest ONS data, the total bilateral trade in goods and services between the UK and Mexico in 2018 totalled £4.4bn, a 37.1% increase since 2013. We also have a strong working relationship with the Mexican government, as evidenced by the 2010 Canning Agenda, the State Visit in 2015 and the 2015 Dual Year. UK companies that attend the Fair are likely to decide to participate closer to the time, though are more likely to participate as delegates or visitors rather than as exhibitors. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/05/2019 answer text <p>The Government is taking a range of action to reduce the demand for illegal drugs, including Class A drugs.</p><p>As set out in the 2017 Drug Strategy, our prevention approach combines uni-versal action for all young people with targeted action for groups at particular risk, including young people with a range of vulnerabilities, offenders and homeless people.</p><p>Our universal approach focuses on supporting evidence-based programmes which have a positive impact on young people, giving them the confidence and resilience to resist drug misuse. This includes investing in the Alcohol and Drugs Education and Prevention Information Service which provides practical advice and tools to schools and educators, and developing the 'Rise Above' digital hub. As set out in our Serious Violence Strategy, we are taking a multi-agency approach that brings together different sectors and stresses the importance of early intervention to tackle the root causes of violence.</p><p>To reinforce this approach, on 1 April, we launched a consultation on a new legal duty to underpin a public health approach to tackling serious violence. The consultation, which will close on 28 May can be found on the gov.uk website at: <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/serious-violence-new-legal-duty-to-support-multi-agency-action]" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/serious-violence-new-legal-duty-to-support-multi-agency-action]</a>.</p><p>Between 1 and 4 April 2019, the Prime Minister hosted a Serious Youth Violence Summit at 10 Downing Street, with the support of the Home Secretary and other Secretaries of State to ensure a shared understanding and commitment to the multi-agency, public health approach to tackling knife crime and serious violence. A new Ministerial Taskforce, chaired by the Prime Minister, has been created to drive cross-government action.
