Last year we published the Inclusive Transport Strategy which sets out what we are doing to improve access across all transport modes. As part of this, we extended our Access for All programme with an additional £300m of funding. This provides accessibility improvements over and above those required by the rail industry itself. Stations are nominated by the rail industry bodies who can work alongside local authorities and Members of Parliament. Stations are selected for funding through a prioritisation and assessment process. There are no plans to abolish the Blue Badge fee which allows local authorities to recover some of the costs involved with issuing the badge and administering the Scheme. The Department provides good practice guidance in 'Inclusive Mobility' on access to pedestrian and transport infrastructure. Section 3 relates to access to footways, footpaths and pedestrian areas. ‘Inclusive Mobility’ is available at:</p><p> </p><p>www.gov.uk/government/publications/inclusive-mobility</p><p> </p><p>The Department is in the process of updating ‘Inclusive Mobility’, and has research underway to inform this. The research is due to conclude by the end of this year, and the updates to the guidance will follow at a later date. Research into inclusive street design, a collaborative project with the Scottish Government and Transport Scotland, is also underway. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/11/2019 answer text <p>No commercial helicopters were involved in the evacuation of workers from the Thistle oil platform to Dunlin Alpha platform on 21 October 2019. The HM Coastguard search and rescue helicopter based at Sumburgh and two Norwegian rescue helicopters were tasked to evacuate all workers.</p><p> </p><p>Each helicopter undertook the evacuation with one duty crew. The HM Coastguard aircraft operates with a crew of four, the Norwegian aircraft operate with a crew of five.</p><p> </p><p>The total number of flights involved in the evacuation was seven, four undertaken by one Norwegian helicopter and three by HM Coastguard.
