star this property answer text <p>Highways England entered into a conditional contract with BP for the sale of Tollgate Hotel which was conditional on planning permission being granted for development. The planning applications submitted have been subject to a number of judicial reviews, which has delayed the sale. As a result, Highways England have now agreed with BP to move to an unconditional contract, which means the sale will no longer be dependent on gaining planning permission and Highways England will now be able to progress the sale.</p><p><em> </em></p><p>Given that Highways England will be entering into a new unconditional contract with BP for the sale of the property, they have no plans to remarket at this time.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The ‘Change of Control’ provisions in the Franchise Agreement give the Secretary of State unlimited right to reject any sale of a franchise such as those owned by Abellio and Arriva. In deciding whether to approve such a sale, the Secretary of State would consider the arrangements in place for securing the same or improved parent company guarantees and performance bond arrangements as currently exist. This consideration would include the financial standing of the new owning group and other elements of their capacity to honour existing commitments.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Government is aiming to ensure that UK airspace remains interoperable with neighbouring EU airspace. In the event that the UK leaves the EU without a deal, the provisions of the EU airspace and air traffic management regulations would be replicated in national law under the EU Withdrawal Act. The UK would also continue to be a member of the intergovernmental organisation, Eurocontrol, providing a mechanism to coordinate on airspace issues with other European States.</p> more like this
