	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/07/2021 answer text <p>I have had regular discussions with the Secretary of State at the Department for International Trade and, indeed, other Cabinet colleagues on the issue of food standards in the context of our negotiations with Australia.</p><p>The UK is rightly proud of our world-leading food, environment and animal welfare standards. We have a number of tools available in FTAs to maintain these standards. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 27/04/2020 answer text <p>Probation is operating under an exceptional delivery model which prioritises public protection and offender management in the community.</p><p> </p><p>Probation officers continue supervising in person those who pose the highest risk ensuring the monitoring of high-risk offenders remains as tough as it always is.</p><p> </p><p>At the same time, we are supervising lower-risk offenders using more frequent video and telephone calls.</p><p> </p><p>We have set up Homelessness Prevention Taskforces to support offenders who are being temporarily released from prison as part of efforts to keep prisons safe during this period. Its mission statement is to reduce the risk of foreign interference to the UK’s democratic processes, institutions, and society, and ensure that these are secure and resilient to threats of foreign interference.</p><p>The Taskforce is a cross-departmental and inter-agency initiative made up of ministers and officials from policy-owning departments, including the Cabinet Office, Home Office, DSIT, DLUHC and DfE, law enforcement, the UK intelligence community and Parliament.</p><p>Meetings of the Taskforce will be complemented by wider formal engagement with partners outside central government and Parliament, including in the devolved administrations, local government and private, education and third sectors.</p><p>The government takes the risk of foreign interference in higher education very seriously.</p><p>This is why there is already a dedicated cross-government programme of work to assess and counter foreign interference in higher education.
