	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/02/2019 answer text <p><del class="ministerial">The Home Office is putting in place measures to ensure that the EU Settlement Scheme is streamlined, user-friendly and accessible to all prospective applicants. That is why we are working in partnership with vulnerable group representatives, local authorities and other experts to make sure we reach everyone.</del></p><p><del class="ministerial">Since November 2017, we have held monthly meetings with representatives of EU citizens on the design and development of the scheme and communications plans. We have been working closely with these groups to identify the needs of potentially vulnerable applicants including the disabled, elderly and isolated. There will be a broad range of support in place; for those who need non-specialist support there is the assisted digital service for technological support, and the Settlement Resolution Centre which will be able to assist with questions relating to the application process.</del></p><p><del class="ministerial">When the scheme fully opens by 30 March, there will be further routes available to have identity documents checked. This includes posting passports or ID cards to the Home Office to be checked and returned, and there will be over 50 locations all over the country where applicants can have their document scanned.</del></p><p><del class="ministerial">The Home Office is committed to supporting vulnerable EU citizens to obtain UK immigration status and we will continue to engage with representative groups to ensure the needs of vulnerable citizens are taken into account.</del></p><p><br /><ins class="ministerial">All EU Settlement Scheme advertising since March 2018 has been digital, using online channels. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 11/02/2019 answer text <p>INTERPOL is a crucial organisation enabling police to police cooperation between 194 member countries.</p><p>INTERPOL systems enable member countries to issue Red Notices to seek the location and arrest of persons who are wanted with a view to extradition or other lawful action. Such notices must be made strictly in compliance with INTERPOL’s constitution which forbids any intervention or activities of a political, military, religious or racial character. The Government considers very seriously any misuse of INTERPOL notices and strongly supports INTERPOL’s efforts to ensure systems are in place that protect individuals’ human rights.</p><p>It is up to each INTERPOL member country’s legal framework as to what action will be taken in respect of an individual who is subject to an INTERPOL Red Notice, alongside a consideration of other relevant factors such as an asylum claim.</p><p>Those granted refugee status in the UK are not expected to return to their country of origin in accordance with the UK’s obligations under the Refugee Convention. Fees charged for passport applications submitted at a Post Office include a Check &amp; Send element. This fee is levied by Post Office Ltd for the service that they provide. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 31/01/2019 answer text <p>Government is making every effort to pay back everyone affected by the subsistence rate contract changes for asylum-seeking victims of modern slavery made in March 2018.</p><p>Based on the current data, we have identified 1,208 potential victims of trafficking that have been affected and are entitled to back payments. 989 of those affected are still in both National Referral Mechanism (NRM) and asylum support, 150 are no longer in NRM support but are still in asylum support, and 69 are no longer in either NRM or asylum support.</p><p>On 24 January 2019, personalised letters were sent out to all those we identified as being affected and eligible for repayments. For those still in support, the letters detailed how much and how they will be paid. For those who have left support, the letters explained how to apply for these pay-ments.</p><p>If an individual believes they are eligible but does not receive a letter, they can complete an application form on gov.uk. There is no closing date for when people can apply for back payments if they think they are eligible.
