	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 29/11/2018 answer text <p>The Block Grant Transparency publication (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/block-grant-transparency-december-2017-publication) sets out details of all additions to the Devolved Administrations’ budgets since the 2015 Spending Review. The Barnett Formula will have been applied to all changes to the DCMS budget at both Spending Reviews and at Fiscal Events in the normal way as set out in the Statement of Funding Policy.</p><p> </p><p>Companies from across the country have been directly engaged in legacy infrastructure and projects - for example, South Wales based Pro Steel were awarded contracts as part of the transformation of the Olympic Stadium roof post-2012 Games, they secured a £1m loan to enable them to compete for the work from Finance Wales. Pro Steel were also awarded a subcontract by BAM Nuttal for transformation work in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park post games consisting of re-purposing and construction of a bridge in the north of the Park near the Velodrome. They were also awarded the contract to make modifications and strengthening works to another bridge, and supply and installation of a third bridge.</p><p> </p><p>Last week I met with my counterparts in Wales and Scotland to discuss the many opportunities the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games presents to the whole of the UK. This set out measures to strengthen protections around gaming machines, including cutting the maximum stake on B2 machine from £100 to £2, online gambling, and gambling advertising. It also set out action on treatment and support for those who experience harm, including initiatives to improve the evidence on treatment needs and effectiveness, expand access to existing services and strengthen the voluntary system for funding support. Government has also encouraged industry to increase its funding for third sector initiatives to support people with a gambling addiction.</p><p> </p><p>GambleAware, an independent charity, commissions treatment services, including the National Gambling Helpline and counselling services, specialist treatment delivered by the NHS National Problem Gambling Clinic and the Gordon Moody Association. GambleAware aims to triple access to its treatment services across the country and recently announced the establishment of a further specialist NHS clinic and Problem Gambling Support team in Leeds.</p><p>As demonstrated by the report Gambling Behaviour in Great Britain 2016, which is based on the combined Health Surveys, there is an association between mental health and problem or risky gambling behaviour. Some problem gamblers will therefore access support through services for other addictions and mental health conditions. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 30/11/2018 answer text <p>According to the Health Survey for England, in 2015 22% of children (23% of boys and 20% of girls) aged 5-15 met the physical activity guidelines of being at least moderately active for at least 60 minutes every day. This is higher than in 2012, when 21% of boys and 16% of girls met the guidelines. However this excludes school-based activities and active travel. Government departments including DCMS, DfE and DHSC have worked with Sport England to develop the new Active Lives: Children and Young People survey. This survey launched in schools in September 2017 and will measure in much more detail how children and young people engage in sport and physical activity, and how many are meeting the Chief Medical Officer's guidelines, both in and out of school. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 27/11/2018 answer text <p>The Life Chances Fund (LCF) is an £80m fund to help people in society who face the most significant barriers to leading happy and productive lives. It provides top-up contributions to locally commissioned Social impact Bonds (SIBs) that aim to tackle complex social problems.</p><p> </p><p>All of the £80m Life Chances Fund has been awarded in principle to local commissioners, including local authorities and clinical commissioning groups. These commissioners are at various stages of designing and delivering the projects. Their most recent figures from March 2017 show there are 319 lotteries that hold two licences. One licence is required to sell by remote channels (such as online or over the telephone) and a separate licence is required to sell by non-remote channels (in person).</p><p> </p><p>There are three charities that hold multiple licences. These are Macmillan, Royal British Legion and Age UK.</p><p> </p><p>Some societies also come together under a common umbrella brand, managed by licensed External Lottery Managers. The Department launched a consultation in June 2018 considering proposals to amend society lottery sales and prize limits. This aims to allow society lotteries to grow while protecting the National Lottery. The consultation closed on 7 September and my officials are now carefully considering responses. The Football Foundation is an organisation investing £60m each year into improving the country's grassroots football and sports infrastructure with money provided by its funding partners: the Premier League, The FA and the Government (via Sport England).</p><p> </p><p>Total grassroots football investment (Sport England and Football Foundation) for the North East is over £23m since 2010.</p><p> </p><p>A full breakdown of figures for other grassroots sports funded by Sport England are available on their website: www.sportengland.org.</p><p> </p><p>UK Sport, which receives funding from the UK government and the National Lottery, prepares athletes for Olympic and Paralympic Games across the UK, and is investing up to £345m to fund at least 38 sports across the current 4-year Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic and Paralympic funding cycle.
