It is a fundamental freedom which underpins many other human rights. The Action Plan envisages negotiations on limited amendments to the Libya Political Agreement, a National Conference, preparations for elections and the provision of humanitarian assistance where it is needed in Libya. It is the PA’s responsibility to deploy these vetted public servants to schools in the West Bank as they see fit. UK funding enables around 25,000 young Palestinians to receive an education annually. The UK government strongly condemns all forms of violence and hatred. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 18/01/2018 answer text <p>The new Single Departmental Plan of the Department for International Development (DFID) puts the Sustainable Development Goal 2 (SDG2) at the centre of our work to eradicate extreme poverty, deliver inclusive economic development, including sustainable agricultural programmes and investments, and build resilience. Spend through our bilateral and multilateral agriculture programmes to reduce hunger and under-nutrition has increased, from £243million (2012) to £484 million (2015) and roughly £600 million in 2016. We are also working to shape the multilateral agenda. The Global Agriculture and Food Security Program (GAFSP) harnesses both public and private investments for SDG2 and implements through a range of multilateral institutions. DFID is a global leader in addressing acute hunger through humanitarian and famine relief. DFID has also committed to improve the nutrition of 50 million people overseas by 2020 and published a Position Paper setting out our plans. We will provide around £50 million in 2017/18 to assist UNRWA in their provision of basic education to around 500,000 children and health services for around 3 million Palestinian refugees as well as supporting Palestinian refugees from Syria with cash and in-kind food assistance. We are concerned at the impact on UNRWA’s activities whenever unexpected reductions or delays in predicted donor disbursements occur. The UK – alongside partners – remains committed to the UN process to develop both a Global Compact for Migration and a Global Compact for Refugees. The decision by the United States to withdraw from the former does not alter the UK Government’s commitment to engage fully and work towards the successful delivery of these compacts. We believe that the Global Compact on Migration should offer an effective international framework to ensure that migration is safe and orderly and that it should balance the rights and responsibilities of both states and migrants.
