star this property answer text <p>DWP takes the health, safety and wellbeing of colleagues very seriously and all of our offices are COVID secure. We have a suite of Health &amp; Safety risk assessments in place developed following extensive consultation with departmental trade union representatives that cover all of the measures in place to protect staff and customers. These risk assessments are regularly reviewed, for example following changes to government guidance, including that from the respective governments in the devolved nations.</p><p> </p><p>In addition, DWP offers a comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme that offers short and long-term support for any physical or mental health issues that staff face.</p><p> </p><p>DWP also has a network of Mental Health First Aiders on hand across all parts of the DWP to offer immediate emotional support and also to signpost to expert support.</p><p> </p><p>The DWP’s network of Wellbeing Advocates are a community of staff representing all grades, job roles and geographical areas who regularly cascade key Wellbeing messages and support packages to their local teams and sites who also provide an invaluable service in feeding back to the central Wellbeing team on challenges that their colleagues are facing.</p><p />

star this property answer text <p>The Intensive Personalised Employment Support (IPES) programme provides support for disabled people with complex barriers to work. Participants receive up to fifteen months of intensive pre-employment support and six months of intensive in-work support when they start work.</p><p> </p><p>When participants enter employment, they continue to receive support from their IPES provider and do not leave the programme. Support will usually end when the participant achieves a higher threshold outcome. There were 900 higher threshold outcomes in the year ending October 2022.</p><p> </p><p>Data Source: The figures come from management information (MI) that is derived from the Provider Referral and Payment system (PRaP) used by DWP and providers to manage referrals. star this property answer text <p>The UK State Pension is payable worldwide and is up-rated where there is a legal requirement to do so, for example, where UK State Pension recipients are living in countries where there is a reciprocal agreement that provides for up-rating of the UK State Pension. Under the terms of the Withdrawal Agreement, UK State Pension recipients living in the EEA and Switzerland by 31 December 2020 will have their state pensions up-rated for as long as they continue to live there and remain in scope of the Withdrawal Agreement. This will happen even if they claim their pension on or after 1 January 2021, provided they meet the UK State Pension qualifying conditions. For those not within scope of the Withdrawal Agreement, the rules governing up-rating are subject to the negotiations on the Future Relationship with the EU. The UK Government is seeking a reciprocal agreement with the EU which includes state pension up-rating.</p> more like this
