	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 19/09/2017 answer text <p>Where a dog is worrying livestock, police and local authorities, with the consent of the local police, can pursue a prosecution under the Dogs (Protection of Livestock) Act 1953. This provides a criminal offence where a keeper has allowed their dog to worry livestock and carries a maximum fine of £1000. Defra and the Animal Health and Welfare Board for England (AHWBE) met police forces, farming and rural interests to discuss this issue earlier this year. The Government recently consulted on a draft air quality plan setting out our approach to reducing levels of nitrogen dioxide (NO<sub>2</sub>) to within legal limits in the shortest possible time. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/07/2017 answer text <p>Emissions from transport refrigeration units are not included within the European emission standards used for assessing compliance for free entry to charging Clean Air Zones.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Guidance on the operation of Clean Air Zones in England is set out in a Framework published on 5 May this year available at <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/air-quality-clean-air-zone-framework-for-england" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/air-quality-clean-air-zone-framework-for-england</a>. The Framework encourages local authorities to work with business to reduce pollutant emissions from vehicles, including encouraging the upgrade of refrigeration units on cold chain vehicles to the least polluting options.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The UK Government has been actively involved in developing new legislation for non-road mobile machinery at a European level that covers transport refrigeration units. Information on this website includes daily air pollution forecasts and hourly monitoring data from national monitoring sites, alongside associated health advice. The website also holds research reports and a back catalogue of historical monitoring and modelling data made available as open data.</p><p> </p><p>There is an effective cross-government system in place for giving health advice to the public during periods of high air pollution. Defra, Public Health England and the Met Office work closely together to issue up-to-date postcode-specific forecasts, bulletins and social media updates. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 03/07/2017 answer text <p>The Seasonal Agricultural workers scheme was closed in 2013, on the advice of the Migration Advisory Committee (MAC).</p><p> </p><p>Defra has been monitoring the economic output of the horticultural industry and there has been an increase in output in real terms between 2014 and 2016 (latest available data) for both the UK and Scotland.</p><p> </p><p>According to Agriculture UK 2016[1], output of vegetables and horticultural products in the UK saw an increase of £128 million in real terms between 2014 and 2016. Output of fruit in the UK saw an increase of £68 million from 2014-2015 with a subsequent decrease of £34 million in 2016 in real terms.</p><p> </p><p>Output of the horticultural industry in Scotland increased between 2014 and 2015 by £25.1 million in total.
