The Deputy Director, Tobacco Control and Responsibility Deal, was the official responsible for making recommendations to Ministers on the awarding of such grants.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Department reached its conclusion that ASH was the only charity in this area with the appropriate national reach and focus, and appropriate standing in the international arena, based on an assessment of the information contained in the grant application and other relevant information.</p><p> </p> more like this
