The product has been unavailable since summer 2012. star this property answer text <p>All patients are free to choose whichever pharmacy they wish to receive their dispensed medicines and other National Health Service pharmaceutical services. We deprecate any action which seeks unduly to influence patients towards, or away from, choosing a particular pharmacy.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee, Pharmacy Voice and the British Medical Association issued a joint statement in October 2013 calling on general practitioners to avoid activities which are against good practice. star this property answer text <p>Cannabis is a Class B drug under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 and is listed in Schedule 1 under the Misuse of Drugs Regulations 2001. Cannabis in its raw form is not authorised as a medicinal product in the United Kingdom and no assessment has been made by the Government of its potential medicinal benefits.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Sativex is the first cannabis-based medicine (oral spray) to be recognised by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency to have medicinal properties and is placed in Part I of Schedule 4 to the Misuse of Drugs Regulations 2001. This distinguishes it from cannabis in its raw form which continues to remain a Class B and Schedule 1 controlled drug under UK legislation. A person can lawfully possess Sativex under a prescription issued by a qualified healthcare professional.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>However, Sativex remains a Class B drug under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 Act and Class B drug offences, including unlawful possession, supply, possession with intent to supply etc, continue to apply to Sativex.</p><p> </p><p><strong> </strong></p><p> </p>

star this property answer text <p>Companies pay all Pharmaceutical Price Regulation Scheme payments to the Department of Health in England. The total United Kingdom payments will be allocated to each of the four UK countries in a fair way and the estimated payments for England have been included within the NHS England budget. The method for apportioning 2014-15 payments will be based on primary care data for spend on licensed branded medicines, as the most consistent data set available across the UK. Income will be apportioned using prescribing data for the same period as the income relates, on a quarterly basis.</p><p> </p> more like this
