	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 06/11/2014 answer text <p>The National Maritime Information Centre (NMIC) is reporting to interested government departments the movement and expected arrival information of vessels that have been in ports or anchorages in Guinea, Liberia or Sierra Leone within the Ebola incubation period (21 days). This information is made available to the ports and shipping communities, including port health authorities.</p><p> </p><p>There are six ships on the current Vessels of Interest (VoI) list which have, within the last 21 days, visited ports in the three countries affected by the Ebola outbreak. A total of 67 VoIs has been identified in the last two months. Most of these vessels have not called at a UK port but were rather travelling to neighbouring countries. My right hon. As of 21 November, we have committed £230 million.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The vast majority of our commitment will be spent tackling this crisis in Sierra Leone, where the UK is leading the international response. NHS staff deployed through the UKIEMR remain employed by their NHS Trust.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>58 NHS staff have been already deployed through UKIEMR to support partners managing Ebola Treatment Centres in Sierra Leone. Some 20 NHS staff will be deployed to Sierra Leone later this month, followed by a further deployment of up to 62 staff in early 2015. Deployments beyond this point will be determined according to need.
