	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/04/2018 answer text <p>The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) does not directly employ cleaning staff. Cleaning services in buildings managed by the Department are outsourced. The suppliers pay, as a minimum, the National Living Wage.</p><p>The Serious Fraud Office (SFO) pays for cleaning services as part of its service charge. The contracted cleaners are paid at least the minimum wage.</p><p>The Government Legal Department (GLD) and Her Majesty’s Crown Prosecution Service Inspectorate (HMCPSI) contract out their cleaning services; the providers have committed to pay a minimum of the London living wage to the staff who clean GLD’s London offices.</p><p>The Attorney General’s Office (AGO) contracts out its cleaning services. 	question text	To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, with reference to the Planning for the Future White Paper published in August 2020, what procedure he proposes will be used to define whether open countryside is classified as protected under the new zoning arrangements.

The National Planning Policy Framework expects local authorities to recognise the character and beauty of the countryside and the benefits from natural capital and ecosystem services, including woodland and our best and most versatile farmland. Under the consultation proposals in <em>Planning for the Future</em> , it would still be for each local authority, in consultation with the community, to use the local plan process to plan for and ensure the protection of any countryside.
