No record is held as to where an alleged offence was said to have taken place. To obtain details of alleged acts of violence in prisons referred to the CPS for a charging decision would require a manual exercise of reviewing individual case files to be undertaken at a disproportionate cost.</p><p> </p> more like this

A record is held of the number of cases where the CPS has been asked to make a charging decision and the decision made; either to charge or take no further action.</p><p>However, no central records of the alleged offence(s) considered at the pre-charge decision are held by the CPS. To obtain details of the number of allegations of unlawful sexual intercourse offences considered and those which do not proceed, either by way of decision to take no further action or discontinuance following charge, due to the 12 month Statute of Limitations would require a manual exercise of reviewing individual case files to be undertaken at a disproportionate cost.</p><p> </p> more like this

unstar this property answer text <p> </p><p>We announced further reforms to public procurement on 30 May to speed up payments by public bodies to small businesses. These include improvements to e-invoicing, procurement processes and greater powers for Ministers to investigate complaints raised by the Cabinet Office's ‘mystery shopper scheme'.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>We have also announced new legislation that will require larger businesses to report on their payment performance and practices. Increasing transparency and driving openness is at the heart of building a more responsible payment culture that UK businesses need to thrive.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Recent research suggests that UK businesses experience an average 17 day delay to payment of invoices. This is a reduction in the past two years but a figure that is still too high and is holding back investment and growth.</p><p> </p> more like this

unstar this property answer text <p> </p><p>In 2013 4 out of 56 (7%) appeals cases were finalised within 20 working days and 22 out of 56 (39%) were finalised within 60 working days.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Officials continue to review procedures to streamline the handling of appeals, including additional resources and revised arrangements for consulting Ministers and advisers in other Government Departments. We expect an improvement in performance during 2014.</p><p> </p> more like this
